The dream of humankind, to fly, took it's shape as the history of aviation started in 1903 when the Wright brothers made their first succesful flight. Since then the concept of the optimal airplane had been forgotten for decades, not least due to the challenge of the aerodynamic design. In the last years the canards have become more and more popular again, as advanced computer programs and simulated wind tunnel tests allow the designing of the optimal airplane at reasonable effort. This is also Siipi's concept in all our areas of knowledge, we always aim for the challenge of the optimal solution.
